The 32-year-old reality star and detective agency owner appeared on the ITV show as part of a segment featuring a guest who claimed he was unable to get a job because of his tattoos.
Ruth Langsford, 57, and her husband Eamonn Holmes, also 57, set about hosting the debate as to whether his neck tattoo should be preventing employers from hiring him, but fans were distracted by Rebecca Jane’s racy display.
Dressed in a demure, black long-sleeved top, keeping her famous assets under wraps in the roll-neck number, she opted for a risqué red skirt.
The blonde bombshell flashed plenty of thigh in the eye-popping side split garment, which received lots of attention, with viewers taking to social media to object.
“Never mind his neck tattoo. What about her indecent skirt at 10.34am,” one fumed, while another said: “Why would you go on #ThisMorning with half of your a**e cheek out?”
“Cover yourself up love. You’re on the show to represent professional women. Too much thigh,” a third This Morning viewer seethed, as a fourth added: “Rebecca dear, maybe pull your skirt over your leg.”
Rebecca revealed that she wouldn’t hire anyone to work for her if they had obvious tattoos, despite having body art herself.
“I’m quite heavily tattooed but I had my tattoos in those kinds of places because I know that people judge you for having them,” she said, explaining that hers were discrete.
“If you’re in a professional environment, people are going to judge you,” she added.
Meanwhile, Joe Parsons, who had a large tattoo across his neck, complained that his appearance was the reason that employers weren’t giving him a job.
“He’s a lovely young man but when you have a tattoo in such a prominent place – it’s your choice,” Rebecca said. “You love it; we can’t expect everybody else to like it.”
This Morning airs weekdays at 10.30am on ITV.
