Louise also admitted that during her stint on the BBC One show, she had been taking encouragement from fellow Strictly 2016 contestant, Daisy Lowe.
The former WAG added: “She kept on at me to wear something sexy, and by week three, I was in a leotard and tights not feeling self-conscious.”
The Strictly Come Dancing star said she is feeling good in her herself, thanks to a training app which she had been using for work outs at home.
The 43-year-old revealed at the time that she had set aside time for 10 minute bursts.
She stated: “It brings a personal trainer experience to your home. There are lots of different classes from beginner to advanced and the focus sessions are great if you’ve got a certain goal.”
The Eternal singer added that while she kept trim with a green juice, her happiness depended on moderation – and she wouldn’t say no to a cocktail.
Louise and ex Jamie Redknapp went public with their split back in October 2017, however rumours about the break-up were circulating earlier that year.
A judge granted the pair a divorce in just 25 seconds at the end of last month, dissolving their 19-year marriage.
Louise had previously told Stella Magazine that she had “lost herself”, adding: “I have spent most of my life pleasing everyone else, worrying about being judged and thinking I should always do the right thing by staying at home, looking after my kids and my husband. I lost myself.
“I’d think of my past life as a popstar as being ‘not reality’. Looking after the house and my family was my reality. I became a sort of Stepford Wife, wanting to be perfect at it.”
