SNES Classic update: N64 Mini news, Super Nintendo stock reveal

SNES Classic update: N64 Mini news, Super Nintendo stock reveal

The SNES Classic has proved very popular with fans but there is another Nintendo console that could sell even better.

The N64 would likely prove a smash hit for the Japanese games giant, who have yet to reveal their plans for future Classic gaming machines.

There was some hope this week that more may have been revealed on the subject accidentally.

Fans discovered that on Nintendo.co.uk, there is a handy list of 19 online game manuals for the Nintendo 64.

This number of games is a similar amount to the number of titles loaded up on the NES Classic Mini and Super Nintendo Classic Mini.

The N64 games with downloadable manuals include Super Mario 64, Mario Kart 64, The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time and Donkey Kong 64.

It’s left fans wondering whether this is the selection of games that will be included in the N64 Classic Mini.

On Reddit one fan posted: “If this is true I’m happy for a N64 classic.”

While another wrote: “Looks pretty legit and honestly a good selection.”

And one added: “This list looks pretty solid for a N64 Classic. I’m probably more interesting to see what they do on the hardware side.”

However, the inclusions of these classic games have been explained by other means and it’s not connected with a N64 Mini launch.

It’s apparently a list of N64 games released on the Wii U Virtual Console in Europe.

This would suggest that this latest piece of news is just a coincidence, although there has been others listings found in the past that still back an eventual N64 Mini launch.

Nintendo filed a patent relating to the controller of the Nintendo 64 back in July.

The Japanese games giant filed trademarks for the Switch, as well as the NES and SNES controllers in Europe.

Last December, Nintendo in Japan filed a trademark for the SNES controller, ahead of the announcement of a SNES Classic Mini.

A similar trademark for the NES controller was also filed ahead of the reveal of the NES Classic Mini.

The SNES Classic Mini remains pretty elusive for a lot of fans, with the holiday season adding another element of trouble.

If demand for one of the new Super Nintendo Mini consoles wasn’t already high, things are going to get much harder heading into December.

Nintendo have already indicated that SNES Classic stock is going to continue to arrive into 2018.

Although, there have been no guarantees it will be able to keep up with demand from players hoping to buy one.

The most recent updates have come from Gamestop in the United States, Game.co.uk in the United Kingdom and Amazon France.

All have seen stock updates this week, although neither currently have new stock.

So far every day in November the GAME website has opened orders for the SNES Classic Mini, according to Stock Informer.

This has often sold out within minutes, so be sure to sign up for stock alerts so you don’t miss out on the next restock.

On the Stock Informer website you can sign up for notifications so you don’t miss out on the next time the SNES Classic Mini becomes available to buy.
