I’m A Celebrity 2017: Ant McPartlin looks happier than ever in Australia after rehab stint

The ITV favourite appeared to have put his tough year behind him as he got on with presenting duties in Australia earlier today.

The 41-year-old was seen waving at photographers as he arrived at a luxury villa by boat, just months after seeking treatment for an addiction to drink and drugs.

Ant’s smile was impossible to miss as he sat alongside Dec, 40, before they pulled up in the speedy vessel.

Keeping his black sunglasses on, the presenter looked sunkissed in his light blue, short-sleeved shirt and navy chinos.

Dec was similarly dressed in grey trousers and a black polo shirt, before the pair were introduced to this year’s campmates.

He was seen giving comedian Shappi Khorsandi a huge hug as the stars came face-to-face for the first time before entering the jungle.

It comes after Ant revealed that he had bounced back after his stint in rehab and was determined to put on a “good show”.

“I’m excited to be back, I can’t wait. It’s going to be a good show. I’m feeling great. The flight was all right, I had a lot of sleep and me and Dec had a good catch-up,” he told The Sun.

Dec added: “It’s brilliant to be back together – it’s perfect. Everything slots back into place. We can’t wait and we are raring to go.”

I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! returns Sunday at 9pm on ITV.
