“We’re quite protective as a cast. Apart from being contractually obliged not to say anything, we’ve got a real affection for the show,” he disclosed in a conversation with Metro.
He continued: “We were filming the other week and there seemed to be something flying above. Everyone was suddenly going, ‘Is that a drone? Is that a drone?’ It turned out it was from the SFX department on the other side of the set trying something out.”
Ben added that the heightened environment had the whole team on tenterhooks.
“But there was just this moment there thinking, ‘Don’t let there be any spoilers or anything, just let it happen’,” he continued.
The cast’s fears are not unfounded, as last year a whole episode of the show was released before the official airdate.
Just earlier today, it was reported that scripts for the new series have been found online.
However, the documents have not been verified, nor are they likely to be.
