Adding this snack to your diet plan will cause weight loss by stopping cravings

Weight loss is important for your health, but it does not have to involve huge lifestyle changes.

The NHS said the key to success is to “make realistic changes to your diet and physical activity that can become a part of your regular routine.”

Changing what you snack on could be one way to help you shift that excess weight.

Weight loss is a goal for many Britons heading into 2017. However, following a diet can be difficult when you start craving unhealthy food.

However, there is one snack that has been recommend by health experts that can help you shed the pounds by knocking cravings on the head.

Darren Beale from Musclefood.com claims that maquis berries are the latest superfood to aid weight loss.

He said: “Remember when Goji Berries took over the world?  Expect the same for Maqui Berries.

“These tasty little berries are low in sugar and have a much milder flavour than Goji or Acai berries.

“They’re also crammed with anti-oxidants and are packed with a rainbow of vitamins.

“It’s even thought they can help regulate blood sugar levels – perfect for those of you looking for a simple way to combat sugar cravings without the dreaded insulin spike.”

By keeping sugar cravings low, dieters are bound to have more success avoiding the unhealthy foods that stop them from losing weight.

Experts also agree that adding more fibre to your diet results in weight loss, while giving up sugary drinks will aid weight loss too.

Darren recommends a number of other foods that can aid with health and weight loss goals this year.
